Forever

gone is the joy that once filled our hearts
gone is the sorrow that once darkened our skies
my words are lost as soonas they are spoken
i can´t bring back what once was mine

nothing will last forever
except the memories in our minds

sent down from above
like rain we´re falling and we fade
from the darkened sky

is this journey meant to have an end?
will we ever truly understand?
are we forced to replace what was before?

nothing is forever - a fading past
gone like a missing page in the diary of your own existance

forever is now, forever was - forever past, forever gone?
my memories won´t fade away, survive impermanence of time

the wind blows the rain away, questions fade
the sky is blue and the clouds are full of answers

feed the flame
bring back your life
feed it or you will wake up dead
and will be gone forever

nothing, nothing is forever
except the memories in our minds

forever is now.
